Use Of The Lake

By following these guidelines, you can have a more mindful and respectful experience at The Farm while enjoying the benefits of nature.

Obtain Permission: Before using the lake or water equipment, get permission from the authorities and follow posted signs or rules.

Prioritize Safety: Wear safety gear like life jackets and helmets for kayaking, canoeing, or paddleboarding.

Be Considerate: Respect others on the lake, yield to swimmers and other watercraft, and avoid reckless behavior.

Coexist with Wildlife: Show respect by keeping a safe distance and not disturbing animals.

Respect Restricted Areas: Use the sandy area for recreation. Only authorized personnel can access areas around the lake that are home to wildlife. 

Stay Safe in the Sun: Stay hydrated, use natural sunscreen, and wear protective clothing or a hat.

Leave no Trace: Return tools and equipment to their proper places for efficiency and sharing with others. Dispose of waste properly and clean up after yourself to maintain cleanliness and sustainability.

Second Sundays - Volunteers Day

  Hello Amig@x Are you growing veggies, herbs, and flowers in the upcoming Fall? September is a good time to prepare your tools and garden beds. Build or tuned your compost area. Budget for organic seeds, soil, mulch, fertilizers. See what you could be sowing and planting.  It is a good time to research on how to prepare and feed your soil?
