Guided community walks to identify plants used in residential spaces and explore how they support local birds, butterflies, and other local fauna.
About the Project
This project invites members of the community to walk together through local neighborhoods and observe the plants commonly used in gardens, fences, and shared spaces.
The goal is to identify which plants contribute positively to local ecosystems, especially those that support birds, butterflies, and other forms of wildlife, while also creating awareness about opportunities to improve biodiversity through simple planting choices.
What This Project Does

- Identifies plants used in residential and shared spaces
- Discusses how these plants impact local fauna
- Encourages awareness and future community action
How to Participate
Participants can join scheduled neighborhood walks, contribute observations, and share their perspectives on plant usage and environmental impact.
Community leaders are also invited to host walks in their own neighborhoods and help expand the initiative.
